I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Government at Harvard University. I received my PhD in Political Science from the University of Michigan in 2024.

I study wars, violence, and state-building with an empirical focus on Korea. In my work, I examine how state violence - especially wars - shapes the lives of ordinary citizens.
